is
a country located in southwestern Europe on the Iberian Peninsula.
Its mainland is bordered to the south and east by the Mediterranean
Sea except for a small land boundary with Gibraltar; to the north by
France, Andorra, and the Bay of Biscay; and to the west by the
Atlantic Ocean and Portugal.

the seventies of last century, Spain was one of the poorest
countries in Europe. Massive influx of tourists has caused a great
increase in investment and capital inflows which meant that Spain
was the last 20 years one of the fastest-growing countries of Europe
economically.
Turbulent
history, which left traces in the form of countless monuments and
museums and warmest climate on the continent encourage mass tourism.
Spain is visited every year, more than 70 million tourists. Among
the most interesting tourist attractions include: Barcelona, Toledo,
Zaragoza, Tarragona, Montserrat, Madrid and Valencia.
