Morocco - a country located in northwestern Africa on the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. It borders with Algeria (the East) Western Sahara (south) and the Spanish enclaves in Africa: Ceuta and Mellilą (north). It belongs to the Maghreb countries.
Morocco is situated in the western part of the Atlas. Through the
middle of the country runs the High Atlas Mountains (highest peak:
Jebel Toubkal, 4,165 m), parallel to the stretching Atlas Medium (Jebel
Bou Nasr, 3340 m) to the north and the Anti-Atlas (Imkut, 2531 m) to
the south. Along the Mediterranean coast rise Ar-Rif mountains (Jabal
Tidighin, 2456 m). To the north of the Middle Atlas extends Moroccan
Meseta. In the southern and south-eastern part of the rocky and
sandy deserts of the Sahara. Atlantic Ocean and the lower reaches of
small Moulouya River alluvial plains (Gharb, Dakkala, Sus).
Subtropical climate, coastal marine, inland dry and extremely dry (mountain
variety).
